With the release of new popular phones such as the Galaxy S4, the current iPhone model is looking a bit shabby in comparison to the leading phones on the market. Many are speculating and waiting anxiously for the release of the iPhones predecessor to come out as soon as possible. The predictable name of the iPhone 5S leads us to wonder exactly what Apple will improve to make it a "top of the line" smart phone. Maybe apple will skip this iPhone Models "S" generation, but there is little evidence that that is going to be the case. With that being said, exactly what can we expect from the iPhone 5S and when will it be arriving in stores?
From previous generations, its expected that the next generation iPhone will have the same shell and outer case as the previous version, as well as obtain a better camera, and slightly faster processor. It is however expected that the iPhone 5S will differentiate itself drastically from its predecessor, as it will need to to out rank current top model smart phones.

iPhone 5S Display:
The iPhone 5S is expected to see a dramatic display improvement featuring a full 1080P Retina display. This will be a large improvement over the 727,040 pixel count in the current model, which features a 640 x 1136 resolutions with 326 PPI. It is also expected to have a 10 point multi touch feature, as well as be 0.5mm thick. With the potential of an iPhone Light, the iPhone 5S may feature a larger Screen Size. If not, we will defiantly see that in the iPhone 6.
iPhone 5S Casing:
As previously stated, there is no doubt that the iPhone 5S will simply use the same shell and outer casing as the iPhone 5. Below is a possible leaked image addressing some of the minor changes to buttons and adding stability improvements for a larger battery and processor. It also seems the camera is also built in to the top. Finally MacRumors also suggests that the iPhone 5S will acquire three additional colors to the casing, as well as featuring its original black and slate, and white and silver.
iPhone 5S Camera:
One of the key differences in the next generation iPhone is going to be the camera. Apples most likely going to add a 12MP camera to the back, as well as a dual LED flash.
iPhone 5S Battery:
The iPhone 5S is obviously expected to have a bigger and longer lasting battery. A supposed leaked photo suggest that Apple will ad a 5.92Whr Battery, compared to the current 5.45Whr battery which is in the iPhone 5.
Other News / Technology:
Apple has acquired patent for not only a finger print scanning technology, but also just last month acquired a patent for a Wireless Power Utilization charging system. Many rumors suggest that Apple may add these technologies in the next generation iPhone, if not were sure to see them in the iPhone 6!
Possibility of iPhone "Light"
One of the biggest speculations is whether Apple is developing a second iPhone line up which will feature a plastic outer, as well as cost substantially less. This is presumably going to be called the iPhone Light. It will also feature multiple color line ups, compared to the current iPhone which only comes in black or white models. There are many images suggesting that this phone is in development. Its a big guess as to when this iPhone will be released.
Multiple Screen Sizes?
Apple has always been pressured to released multiple sized phones ever since Samsung released two sizes for its phone line up, the Galaxy S4, as well as the Galaxy S Note. Samsung is expected to release a Galaxy S Note 3 in september or later this year. With this pressure, fans wonder if Apple will release Multiple sizes for its iPhone 5S line up. Rumors also suggest that the iPhone Light may be the 4 Inch iPhone, and the iPhone 5S may be the 5 Inch iPhone. If Apple doesn't release a larger Phone its going to be mandatory, and very likely that they will release Multiple Phone Sizes for the iPhone 6.
iPhone 5S Release Date:
The most realistic release date of the next generation iPhone will be around September / October 2013. There were, however, initial reports that suggesting the iPhone would be released earlier, around late March. These were presumably dismissed due to how far the iPhone had fallen behind its rivals in not only tech specifications, but features as well as operating system.
